Biography

Dr. Emilie Sauret is a Lecturer in the School of Chemistry, Physics and Mechanical Engineering at QUT. After several years in the industry, she returned to academia in 2009. Her expertise includes Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), turbulence modelling, combustion, turbomachinery and fluid-structure interactions. Her current research interests include advanced numerical methods (uncertainty quantification, automated mesh, evolutionary algorithms, mesh-free CFD, multiphase flows) for low-temperature renewable power systems (turbine, heat exchangers, real fluids), and industry and environmental applications (particle transport and deposition, flow and heat transfer through porous media).
